This is your chance to be involved and join a growing list of restaurants who show their commitment to the health of Central Texas as we raise funds for those living with HIV/AIDS in our community.

ABOUT AIDS SERVICES OF AUSTIN

ASA provides life-affirming care and services to Central Texans affected by HIV. Our comprehensive, fully integrated care includes medical care (primary and specialty care), mental health, case managment, access to food and nutrition, housing, oral health, testing and linkage to care, empowerment, and more.

Since 1992, AIDS Services of Austin (ASA) has hosted Dining Out for Life to directly benefit our mission to enhance the health and well-being of Central Texans affected by HIV and AIDS. In 2017, Dining Out for Life raised over $4 million nationally (U.S. and Canada) to provide vital services to people living with HIV and AIDS. All money raised for Austin’s event stayed local and will continue to stay local!

Last year we raised $52,000 to support our programs and services and provide:

• nutritious food throughout the year to 400 clients living with HIV,
• oral healthcare to almost 1,300 people in our community,
• HIV testing and linkage to care over 2,000 people helping to reduce their risk of transmission and move them toward a path of healthier living, and
• education to 7,500 Central Texans about HIV and AIDS and risk reduction.

With your help in 2019, we will not only be able to continue our work but to grow our programs. This allows us to give our friends and neighbors the holistic and life-affirming care they deserve so they will no longer fight to survive but instead thrive by leading a healthy, full life.
